Dark Shadows - Tim Burton and Johnny Depp team up again for this adaptation of the cult British series, about an 18th century vampire transplanted into early ’70′s America. Michell Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Chloe Grace Moretz and Helena Bonham-Carter co-star.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - A crack cast of veteran British actors (Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy) take a trip to India. Romantic, comedic vignettes result. Should be a charmer.

Girl in Progress - Eva Mendes and Cierra Ramirez star in this mother-daughter coming-of-age story.

Sleepless Night - A crooked cop races to recover a bag of cocaine in this crime drama.

Fiesta Gardens – It’s Pachanga Fest 2012 from 11 AM until Saturday! the Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival will feature performances from Calle 13, Los Lonely Boys, Chico Trujillos, Ana Tijoux, Alejandro Escovedo and more.

Hotel Vegas – One night, two cozy sets with What Made Milwaukee Famous. Starts at 9 PM. It’s the “In The Room” series.

The Backyard at Bee Cave – Remember Z102.3, Austin’s long-lost classic rock radio station? Well, re-live that golden period with Foreigner and Foghat. Doors at 6 PM. Slow ride, take it easy.

The Belmont – Speaking of classic, get your groove with hip-hop icons Salt N Pepa. God-des and She will also perform. Doors at 8 PM.

Bass Concert Hall – The alternative rock will be strong in the air tonight with Jane’s Addition appearing at Bass. The Duke Spirit are in backup. Starts at 9 PM.

MOVIES

Hugo - The legendary Martin Scorsese returns with this extravagant fantasy film starring Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen. Early reviews say this is one of 2011′s best, and the finest use of 3-D since Avatar.

The Muppets - Jim Henson’s beloved creations team up with the super-likable Amy Adams and Jason Segal for a new, madcap adventure. Plot description not really necessary because it’s The Muppets!

Momo’s – Austin should be proud to call The Band of Heathens home. This Friday it’s their Anniversary show, and Drew Smith’s Lonely Choir and Beckham Brothers are playing in support. Doors at 8 PM.

Antone’s – One of the hardest-working bands in America, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real are road-testing new material. Doors at 8 PM.

The Elephant Room – Gato Six with special guest Suzi Stern. Starts at 9:30 PM.

** SPECIAL NOTE: Saturday, November 26th is the first day of the first annual Austin Vintage Style Fest. It’s a two-day vintage clothing tour that will include vintage dealers from all over, including local Austin shops and boutiques spanning Congress, First Street, the Drag and Burnet amongst other areas around Austin. “All attendees are encouraged to dress the part whether your thing is swing, rockabilly, mod, disco, pin-up, Hollywood glam, roaring 20’s, or if you just want to dress up and get an authentic makeover. Austin Vintage Style Festival is a collector’s dream and a fun creative tour for all ages.” It’s going to be a bi-annual event, so six months from now there’ll be another fest. But get in on it at the beginning! **
