Christina Aguilera, Lotus – The pop diva took a brief break from her gig on The Voice to record this, her fifth album of totally original songs.

Brian Eno, Lux – After several collaborations with new and old friends, the producing legend returns to the spotlight alone. An ambitious ambient work spread apart four parts, this is a must-listen for fans of art music (as is anything Eno does).

Green Day, ¡Dos! – Part two (duh) of Green Day’s expansive 2012 trilogy sees the band trying out garage rock for their overarching theme.

Soundgarden, King Animal - The alternative rock juggernauts reunite with an album that touches on the sounds that made them such beloved innovators – mountains of guitar, a sinister rhythm section and Chris Cornell’s towering scream. A welcome return.
